I'm just starting to get back to my normal schedule after the holidays. I really do love the first week of January and the opportunity to plan out goals for the new year, but after that burst of excitement over starting fresh with a clean slate for the new year, I kind of slow down, embrace the cold weather and cuddle up inside.
The weather here has been encouraging the slowed down lifestyle with a little snow and beautiful views from the window.
I've been doing some baking: a little fresh bread and - in celebration of her birthday this month - coconut cupcakes using Dolly Parton cake mix.
I've been doing some stitching here and there and planning out the projects I want to finish this year. I'll run down all my WIPs and exciting plans in my next post. I hope everyone's New Year is starting off great!
